Location: Awesome location right next to College Square (Loblaw's, McDonalds, Subway, Tim Horton's, Mac's, clothing stores) and Algonquin College (5 minute walk). The 118 bus stop is right downstairs (less than a minute away, goes to Kanata/Heron/Billings Bridge/Hurdman). 10 minute walk to Baseline station to take buses directly to downtown, Barrhaven etc.
Description: Large bachelor apartment (near the top of the building, so very quiet and safe) with the balcony facing College Square. There is a full kitchen, bathroom and large walk-in closet. Very bright and lots of sun (so it's not cold in the winter). It is newly painted and the carpet was newly installed in August xxxx (when I moved in). I also installed sun-blocking curtains and a door guard in August.
This is a great place to live and I loved it. The only reason I am moving out is because I am moving to a new city. .
This is a transfer lease. The lease contract expires on August 31, xxxx, then you can rent it month-to-month. The monthly rent is $900/month, hydro extra (<$30 in summer, <$50 in winter). You have free access to pools, sauna, fitness room, hot tubs etc. Parking is available. Pet-friendly.
This is managed by Minto, so they have a strict policy for security. Every tenant here must go through a criminal record check which makes this building very safe to live in.
The apartment didn't come with furniture, but I can sell all my furniture (purchased brand new in August xxxx from IKEA, receipts available) to you for a small fee. There is a full-sized bed, firm mattress, 3 small tables, two lamps, an office chair, two stools etc. There is also a microwave, electric kettle, and rice cooker in the kitchen if you want it, which means you can bring your clothing and just move in. If you don't want the furniture, that's okay too :).
If you can move in by mid-March, you can have all the furniture for free!
